Here at Animal and Bird Hospital of Del Mar, we are proud to provide boarding services for our clients and their pets!

We strive to maintain a tranquil environment for your pets. At our hospital, we board birds, cats, and dogs, each in separate areas to ensure a stress-free stay. Our facility is designed to provide a peaceful atmosphere, allowing your pets to relax and enjoy their time with us.

Our staff is well trained to care for all of the species that may stay with us. It is our goal to take care of your pets so you can enjoy your own vacation! We promise to treat every patient as our own. Everyone gets plenty of love and attention daily, so you do not have to worry.

We do have some requirements that must be met prior to boarding with us. Avian boarders need an up-to-date annual exam. Cats must have an up-to-date annual exam and receive the FVRCP vaccine. Dogs are required to have an up-to-date annual exam, a negative fecal test annually, and vaccinations for CIV, Bordetella, Rabies, DHPP.

We’re happy to update these exams and vaccines at our clinic while your pet is here. Owners must be present on the day of drop-off for any exams, and an up-to-date exam with one of our veterinarians is required for any vaccines being given at Animal and Bird Hospital of Del Mar (excluding CIV).
